Botox - The Original Neurotoxin
For 20 years Botox by Allergan has been the leading neurotoxin used in the US.

By using Botox you are treating lines and wrinkles, common areas for treatment are between the forehead, eyebrows (“elevens”), beside the eyes (“smile lines”), nose scrunching (“bunny lines”), gummy smile (upper lip disappearing upon smiling). Botox works by paralyzing the muscle underneath the skin, rendering the skin unable fold and therefore wrinkle.

Botox is often used to reach aesthetic goals, yet it can be used in other fashions such as hyperhydrosis, or excess sweating in the underarm area. Botox can also be used as a treatment for those dealing with frequent tension headaches deriving from areas such as between the eyebrows, neck tension by treating the trapezius muscles and reduce the look of neck bands by injecting neck bands.
The best way to determine pricing and units required to achieve goals is going to be to schedule a COMPLIMENTARY consultation in any of our offices so that you as the patient have a treatment plan in hand. Botox can be used in conjunction with all of our services, our talented medical staff can direct you to supplemental regimens whether that be in the form of take home products or additional services.

Results are not immediate with Botox, some see results as early as 3 days while others take up to a week to see the effects, with full effects being able to be seen at the 14 day mark. Botox lasts anywhere from 3-6 months and is dependent on the area treated and your metabolism processing the Botox out of your body.

Pregnant or breastfeeding
Taking antibiotics (generally wait 12 to 14 days after is best)
Have an active or recent infection
Past allergic reaction to Botox or any different neurotoxin that is used in a similar fashion
Allergy to egg or albumin is said to have possible side effects
Dysport
In 2009, the FDA approved Dysport for use in the United States. Since then, it’s been proven to be an effective, non-invasive treatment for wrinkles, and fine lines.
Like Botox, Botulinum Type A is Dysport’s active ingredient. Once injected, Dysport disables the nerves around the injection site. This limits muscle movement, relaxing the area and smoothing out the skin. However, Dysport positions itself primarily to treat moderate to severe forehead lines and glabellar lines sometimes called frown lines or 11 lines.
